Aldel, Global Powerhouse Glencore ile 180.000 Ton Alüminyum Anlaşması Yaptı
Hollandalı üretici Aldel, 18 Mayıs'ta Glencore ile Hollanda merkezli izabe tesisinin 2020 ve 2021'de 180.000 ton alüminyum satacağını belirten bir anlaşma imzaladı.
Aldel CEO'su Chris McNamee, “Bu, Aldel, halkı ve daha geniş ekonomi için, Coronavirus krizinin arka planına ve yol açtığı ekonomik belirsizliğe karşı gelen büyük bir destek. Sektörümüzün önde gelen oyuncularından biriyle, üretimimizi satın almak için yapılan bu anlaşma, orta vadeli geleceğimizi daha da güvence altına alacak ve Aldel'i Avrupa'nın lider yeşil üreticisine dönüştürmek için on yıllık planımızla bize baskı yapma konusunda güven verecektir alüminyum. Avrupa'nın her zamankinden daha güçlü ve verimli bir üretim üssüne ihtiyaç duyduğuna ve bağımsız bir alüminyum üreticisi olarak önemli bir rolümüz olduğuna inanıyoruz. ”
Aldel şu anda 350 kişiyi istihdam ediyor ve Delfzijl'deki izabe tesisi yılda yaklaşık 80.000 ton üretiyor.
Aldel Inks 180,000 Tonnes Aluminium Deal With Global Powerhouse Glencore
Dutch producer Aldel has entered into an agreement with Glencore on May 18th that will see the Netherlands-based smelter sell 180,000 tonnes of aluminium in 2020 and 2021, reported Reuters.
Chris McNamee, Aldel CEO said: “This is huge boost for Aldel, its people, and the wider economy, coming as it does against the background of the Coronavirus crisis and the economic uncertainty it has caused. This agreement, with one of the leading players in our industry, to purchase our output will further secure our medium-term future, and give us the confidence to press on with our ten-year plan to transform Aldel into a leading European green producer of aluminium. We believe Europe more than ever needs a strong efficient and green manufacturing base and that, as an independent producer of aluminium, we have an important part to play.”
Aldel currently employs 350 people and its smelter in Delfzijl produces around 80,000 tones per year.
